The weather in the general area as P2 of Kane Valley, and it is not looking good.

The smoke maps show that the area is generally covered in smoke, and probably would not be suitable at this time. I do not expect the weather to change drastically enough that viewing would be miraculously restored.

Anybody can go up at any time on their own, of course, but it looks like the "official" one will be delayed, at the very least.

Maybe during the new moon in September (Sept. 11-14) will be better. This also comes a couple of days after our September meeting, which is handy.
